The Senate Web Tech Group's primary focus is the development and continued expansion of this web site, the home base of the Student Senate at RPI. We are interested in seeking new members who are interested in everything from designing stuff in Photoshop to coding dynamic, interface-driven content management systems.
This current web center runs on Ruby on Rails, an extraordinarily robust and accommodating web framework. The forums are built on phpBB, and they, along with our document management system (KnowledgeTree DMS), require us to use and understand PHP.
If you have any experience with Ruby on Rails, PHP, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Flash, The GIMP, or anything else along those lines, the Web Tech Group wants you on board!
The current version of this web site was officially launched to the public on August 25, 2007. Updates will be made periodically to the site.
