Concerto aims to communicate events, announcements, and other information submitted by RPI organizations and individuals to the campus community through a variety of digital means, including web pages and large LCD screens.
Concerto's deployment on campus has grown to 8 screens. Our current locations are: * CII * Lally School * Union 1812 * Union West Lobby * CDC * Bookstore * Mueller Center * Student Government Suite The team is currently working on tons of new features, expect some in a few weeks and some in a few days.
Concerto is beginning to debut all over campus. We had a successful deployment yesterday in the Pittsburgh building, and our screen should be mounted in the CII windows within the next day or two. All are encouraged to login to the system and start submitting content, check out http://signage.union.rpi.edu to sign in and get started!
Concerto is in the final stages of development. The first set of screens will consist of a Union-funded 42-inch LCD TV in the main thoroughfare and two screens in the Pittsburgh Building lobby. Future screens will likely incorporate Commons Dining Hall and renovated Russell Sage Dining Hall (Fall 2008).
