Brian Zaik '09 serves as the Chair of the Campus Communications Committee of the Student Senate. Brian hails from western Massachusetts and is majoring in Computer and Systems Engineering.
The Student Senate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute serves and represents the interests of the student body, developing projects and passing legislation within the RPI Union involving academic affairs, facilities, student rights, and all other topics pertinent to the student body. The Senate meets regularly each week at 4 pm on Tuesdays in Union 3202.

URGENT: Judicial Board Looking for Applicants

Grand Marshal Julia Leusner is current seeking additional applicants for the Judicial Board. The Judicial Board, also known as the J-Board, is the student-run legal entity within the RPI Union. J-Board candidates can be from any class - undergraduate or graduate - and act as advisors to student plaintiffs and defendants. Past experience with judicial organizations such as mock trial is recommended but not necessary.

If you are interested in serving as a member of the J-Board, contact GM Leusner by the end of the week.

myRPI Launches

myRPI is a website for students, by students at RPI. The site allows you to submit new photos, front page designs, quotes, and interesting factoids for the entire community to see. In addition, students can submit new useful links to the site and vote them up or down. Finally, myRPI allows the student body to easily get in touch with the Student Senate regarding many different types of issues, ranging from class problems to new program proposals.
